We are currently searching for a Sr Compensation Consultant to join our team. The Sr Compensation Consultant supports the compensation strategy by analyzing, designing, recommending, implementing and communicating compensation plans including base pay, short- and long-term incentive plans, total compensation analysis, pay administration, compliance, job evaluation, grading, and labor market pricing. They will develop and facilitate education and communications surrounding compensation philosophy and programs. They will analyze compensation data and trends, interpret data for insights and provide recommendations to ensure internal and external equity across division and functions. We are looking for someone to: Evaluates new and existing positions by investigating and analyzing position duties, responsibilities and qualifications to determine the appropriate labor market based pay, job grade, FLSA classification and pay levels; conducts and facilitates job analysis questionnaire process as needed. Partners with Talent Acquisition team to develop offers for complex/challenging situations. Guides the business areas in developing job descriptions to accurately describe job content and ensure compliance with applicable laws. Researches and recommends new and/or revised incentive design models for non-exempt, professional and executive-level roles. Develops, implements and administers new compensation policies and programs to align with the organization’s strategy. Provides reporting and analytics to support recommendations for compensation design and implementation. Provides summary analysis and evaluation of results for all compensation programs. Prepares special studies and recommendations on compensation programs. Supports development of the Board of Directors Compensation Committee meeting agendas, presentations and materials. Develops and/or participates in various compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position. Manages survey submission commitments and serves as the point of contact for survey providers. Manages relationships across Divisions and provides compensation recommendations and influences decision-making to support talent attraction and retention. Provides advice and recommendations to leaders on pay decisions and interpretation and application of policies, guidelines and procedures. Designs, recommends and administers pay structure, merit matrix, job review schedule, and compensation policies. Leads the annual merit and incentive process including drafting annual plan documents, creating detailed timelines and communications, training new leaders on annual merit and incentive system, and administering the payout process. Ensures processes and programs are compliant with regulatory requirements. Proactively identifies ways to improve and/or automate compensation processes. Informs associates on compensation philosophy and programs through communications and education sessions Partners with HRIS to ensure HR systems meet compensation needs. Assists HR Business Partners and Benefits team with projects as assigned by management. We need someone who has: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience. Seven or more years of progressive experience in HR with a minimum of five years of progressive compensation analysis experience market pricing, analyzing data and working with financial concepts and metrics. Demonstrated experience in designing rewards programs and policies. Strong proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint with advanced Excel skills. Strong presentation, verbal and written communications skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as excellent project management skills. Able to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to create and/or reengineer processes to help provide the highest quality product and services. Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively influence, negotiate and interact with outside vendors and associates at all levels of the organization. Able to build relationships with internal and/or external customers to ensure expectations are met or exceeded. Ability to prioritize multiple demands and adapt with appropriate flexibility.
