As a Sr Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) you are responsible for aligning human resources strategy and service with business objectives in designated business areas (BAs) and/or functional organizations. You will serve as a consultant to leadership on human resource-related issues, act as a strategic partner and operations consultant to the business, facilitate resolutions, and respond to emergencies when necessary. You will assess and anticipate HR-related requirements. Balancing the needs of the business with those of the enterprise, HRBPs communicate proactively with internal HR partners (COEs, Shared Services, other HRBPs) and business leaders to develop integrated solutions. The position develops partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees that reflect the organizations business objectives. The HRBP maintains an effective level of literacy about organizational and business strategy, financial position, culture, and competition.

Responsibilities

Consult with leadership on human-resource related issues and serve as a strategic partner to the business.

Assess and anticipate HR-related requirements and respond to emergencies when necessary.

Collaborate with internal HR partners (COEs, Shared Services, other HRBPs) and business leaders to develop integrated solutions.

Develop partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service aligned with business objectives.

Maintain literacy about organizational and business strategy, financial position, culture, and competition.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and 10+ years of work experience

Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

Leadership abilities including change management, leadership coaching, problem-solving, and conflict resolution

Experience conducting investigations and managing employee relations issues

Ability to operate in ambiguity with limited guidance and support

Experience developing and executing strategic people strategy

Workforce planning and strategic human capital planning experience

Qualifications We Prefer

Background in HR, management consulting, communications, or other support function

Masters of Business Administration, HR, or Organizational Leadership

PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification

Strong business analytic skills with experience in data analysis tools

Knowledge of DoD, government contracting and/or public auditing policies, standards, and procedures

Experience with Workday HR management systems

Labor Union avoidance support to leaders and employees

Experience in the Aerospace & Defense or Aviation industry

Compensation and Benefits SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

Security Clearance This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF) handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors include allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
