Join the Clean Energy Revolution. Become an Employee Volunteerism and Giving, Communications Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and help build a better tomorrow. You will manage SCE’s employee volunteer program, plan and execute employee engagement opportunities aligned with Edison’s corporate responsibility strategy, coordinate signature events, foster relationships with nonprofit partners, and increase employee participation in giving and service initiatives. You will work with internal teams to amplify storytelling campaigns and lead Edison’s Employee Giving Program, including the annual fall Employee Giving Campaign, disaster relief/cause campaigns, offline donations, company-sponsored fundraising events, and the employee relief fund. You will manage outside vendors, including nonprofit disbursements, IT projects, budgeting and contract management. As an

Organizes and schedules communication releases, monitors channels for feedback, and ensures content aligns with the company’s brand and voice Supports efforts with managing PR risks and crisis communications in conjunction with the central marketing leadership Manages, monitors, and reports on the effectiveness of corporate communications efforts Collaborates with vendors to develop joint content strategies to maximize communication efforts Highlights success stories around major projects, emphasizing community investments and partnerships Maintains standard key messages/talking points for management; provides media relations counsel, media training, news release writing, distribution processes and monitoring Updates and contributes to databases of communications materials to support fast response and engagement activities Assists with critical communication materials such as blogs, OP-EDS, fact sheets, web copy, and other collateral Creates media-specific key messages and Q&A’s in consultation with Public Affairs, Communications, senior leaders and subject matter experts Protects the company’s assets and responsibly handles private customer data and confidential information with high standards of conduct Minimum Qualifications

Seven or more years of experience in Corporate Communications within a corporate and/or agency environment Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business or related field A passion for giving back to communities; experience in managing corporate volunteer programs and employee giving campaigns Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including SharePoint and Viva Engage Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience communicating across different company levels (customers, clients, colleagues, executives) Experience connecting business strategies with employee engagement programs Strategic problem solver, self-starter, and creative in achieving team goals Excellent written and oral communication skills Additional Information

The position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee reports to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Employees are required to reside in California. Details discussed at interview. Work mode may change based on business needs.
