Sr. Strategic Sourcing Consultant (Site Services, HR, Finance)
Hybrid: 4 days onsite or Fully Remote

Overview We are seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Consultant with proven experience in HR, Finance, and Site Services (Facilities) sourcing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hybrid model (3 days onsite in Irvine), though strong remote candidates will also be considered. This role requires hands-on expertise in Ariba, including pulling up suppliers, creating POs, and guiding managers through PRs. The consultant will be a trusted advisor to portfolio owners, demonstrating professional collaboration and the ability to influence and guide stakeholders in a respectful, partnership-focused way.
Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing Planning:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for HR, Finance, and Site Services categories.
Conduct market research to identify suppliers, assess market trends, and create cost-reduction targets.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into clear sourcing requirements.
Ariba & Source-to-Pay Execution:
Utilize Ariba to source suppliers, manage PRs, create POs, and support managers through the end-to-end source-to-pay process.
Standardize sourcing processes and drive compliance with company policies.
RFx Management:
Lead RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs across assigned categories.
Analyze supplier responses, evaluate proposals, and recommend optimal suppliers based on quality, cost, and service.
Supplier Negotiation & Relationship Management:
Develop and execute negotiation strategies for complex contracts.
Build and manage supplier relationships, ensuring strong performance and continuous improvement.
Address supplier performance issues and escalate as needed.
Cost Optimization:
Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategic sourcing initiatives.
Apply Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodologies in evaluating sourcing options.
Stakeholder Partnership:
Serve as a trusted advisor to portfolio owners, guiding them through sourcing processes in a collaborative, partnership-focused way.
Provide clear communication on sourcing strategies, progress, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; 7+ years of advanced strategic sourcing experience.
Proven sourcing experience in HR, Finance, and Site Services (Facilities).
Strong Ariba experience (supplier search, PR/PO creation, process guidance).
Expertise in negotiation, contract law, and supplier relationship management.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence respectfully.
Strong analytical skills, including spend analysis, cost modeling, and financial evaluation.
Ability to manage ambiguity and change while working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Project management skills with experience driving sourcing projects to completion under limited supervision.
