Alliance Resource Group is recruiting for our client, a medical device manufacturer, for their next Corporate Accountant. This person will be the right hand to the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for critical ad-hoc projects for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Process invoicing, sales tax filings, and handle deferred revenue
Utilize complex Excel worksheets to manage manual accounting processes
Perform AP-related tasks as required
Assist the AR team on invoicing and client follow up
Maintain financial records and assist with month-end closing
Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Assist with other accounting duties as needed, contributing to a lean and efficient team
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise
Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and data manipulation
Mac OS experience and familiarity with Office 365
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices
Ability to manage sales tax filings and handle deferred revenue
High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a willingness to adapt
Key Attributes:
Flexible and adaptable – able to switch between tasks and priorities with ease
Laid-back personality but highly efficient and able to take direction well
A self-starter with the ability to make the Corporate Controller’s life easier
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Willing to learn and contribute across different accounting functions
Work Environment:
Hybrid role 3 days onsite in South OC (Dana Point, SJC, San Clemente area)
Small, close-knit team where you’ll have a meaningful impact on day-to-day operations
Compensation up to $90,000 depending on experience and qualifications
