Finance Manager, Trustworthy Shopping Experience
The Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) team ensures all our customers, worldwide, have a worry-free shopping experience. To continually raise the bar on that experience, the TSE team builds tools and programs to identify and then mitigate or prevent compliance, selling partner, or product risk. We're looking for a finance manager who can quickly connect the dots between business actions and finance outcomes to partner with the TSE team. This finance manager drives financial insights, identifies opportunities and develops new frameworks to evaluate impact. This role influences decision making while learning how the team innovates on behalf of customers and selling partners. Key job responsibilities include: Developing metrics and analysis to drive insights Connecting business actions to finance outcomes Simplifying processes to increase value for customers Inspecting the business and understanding key initiatives driving results Experimenting quickly and finding what works and what doesn't Working across teams and organizations to understand financial impact Managing headcount and operating expenses Basic Qualifications 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or MBA and 7+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience Preferred Qualifications 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience MBA, or CPA Knowledge of SQL/ETL Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
