Intapp is seeking a high-energy and experienced professional to join our Corporate Development team. The Director will join a small, collaborative group focused on the origination, execution and integration of M&A. The position offers significant exposure to senior leaders across the company as well as substantial career progression potential. What you’ll do
Develop a detailed understanding of Intapp’s strategic objectives and market landscape, identifying high-potential acquisition opportunities across existing and future market verticals and geographies. Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, adjacent markets, and potential disruptions. Manage the end-to-end M&A process from initial screening and diligence to negotiation, closing and integration. Help build out Intapp’s network and develop relationships that may lead to acquisitions in the future. Work closely with deal sponsors and cross-functional leaders across Intapp on all aspects of M&A, including business case construction, valuation analysis, deal structuring, negotiation, due diligence, deal execution and integration. Manage a comprehensive due diligence process with close collaboration across multiple functions. Conduct quantitative financial and valuation analyses to assess M&A opportunities. Structure and negotiate deal terms, including valuation, financing, and legal agreements. Prepare written communications and presentations to key senior executives. Create and implement integration plans to ensure a seamless absorption of acquired companies. Mentor and support junior deal team members. What you’ll need
10+ years in Corporate Development, Private Equity or Investment Banking. Proven track record of leading and executing M&A transactions including diligence and transaction document negotiation. Technically proficient with strong financial modeling and valuation skills. Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and comfort working in a small team without a junior resource. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels and teams. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify relevant areas of inorganic growth. Excellent communication, judgment, maturity, and experience working with executives. Strong deal process management and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with private capital, legal, investment banking and/or accounting & consulting markets. Resourceful, persistent and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Business, Economics or related Bachelor's Degree required; MBA optional. What you will gain at Intapp
