deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Principal Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description:

deciBel Research seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to support the Ground Based Midcourse (GMD) Weapon System (GWS). The successful candidate will perform MBSE activities in support of the program's GSS IPT.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM related field

Experience Requirements:

5+ years with Bachelor's degree, 3+ years with Master's degree, 1+ years with PhD

Strong prior experience with DOORS

Missile Defense Domain knowledge

Experience working in Hardware and Software integration

Strong background in MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering) and the use of SysUML to describe behaviors of a complex DoD system

Special Skills Desired:

Prior experience with Cameo

Experience with INCOSE Systems engineering

Security+ certification

Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs.

Capable of working both independently and within a small team environment.
