2026-10-04 Job Summary: The
Material Handler
ensures the
safe and efficient movement
of materials within the supply chain. This includes
receiving, storing, transporting, and tracking
inventory to support production and shipping needs while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect
incoming materials for accuracy and damage. Organize and label
materials in designated storage locations. Transport materials
to/from production, storage, loading docks, and delivery trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks. Maintain accurate inventory
by labeling, recording locations, and reporting shortages. Pick and pack materials
for orders or production requirements. Load and unload inventory
using material handling equipment. Maintain a safe and clean workspace , following all safety procedures. Required Experience:
Experience performing physical labor including lifting, pushing, and pulling materials. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for labeling and recordkeeping. Ability to operate material handling equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively. Nice-to-Have Experience:
Experience in shipping and receiving roles. Previous work in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Required Skills:
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items Organizational skills and attention to detail Material handling equipment operation Preferred Skills:
Communication and teamwork skills Basic computer literacy for inventory systems Prior warehouse or logistics experience Additional Skills:
Inventory management Labeling and tracking Adherence to safety protocols Cleanliness and organization
