Warehouse : Printing Customer Service Representative
Job Summary:
This role bridges the gap between clients and warehouse operations, providing excellent customer service while ensuring smooth warehouse functions. A Warehouse Customer Service Representative handles customer concerns, processes orders, and facilitates the flow of information to ensure all deliveries are accurate and on time.
Key responsibilities
include managing customer inquiries, tracking orders, preparing necessary documentation, and liaising with warehouse staff to meet delivery schedules.
Customer Interaction:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing information about products and services.
Order Management:
Process, input, and track customer orders, ensuring all special requests are noted per Printing requirements.
Shipment Coordination:
Liaise with forwarders and the warehouse team to schedule deliveries and confirm shipment readiness.
Issue Resolution:
Address and resolve complaints related to billing, service failures, or product issues, escalating complex cases to the appropriate departments.
Documentation:
Prepare and handle shipping and delivery documents and maintain inventory records.
Information Sharing:
Update customers on order statuses, shipping information, and any changes affecting their deliveries.
Reporting:
Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) or other metrics as required by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Customer Service:
Strong communication, problem-solving, patience, and empathy are crucial.
Organization:
High levels of organization and attention to detail are necessary for managing orders and documentation.
Technical Aptitude:
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) is often beneficial.
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships and work effectively with internal teams.
Product Knowledge:
A good understanding of the company's products and services is helpful.
Logistics Awareness:
Basic knowledge of the printing industry, warehouse operations, and shipping is preferred.
Experience in the Print Industry is REQUIRED
WMS Knowledge
