Job Requisition: Senior Architect - Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Location - 3-4 days Onsite NYC
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) expertise to lead the re-architecture and delivery of enterprise-level digital solutions within the Financial Services and Insurance domains. This individual will combine deep technical knowledge of AEM with strong leadership, client-facing, and delivery management skills to ensure successful execution of complex transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable engaging with C-level executives, shaping enterprise architecture strategies, and leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
Lead the re-architecture of enterprise-scale AEM solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance with industry standards. Define technical roadmaps, integration strategies, and best practices for enterprise content management solutions.
Delivery Leadership
Drive large-scale, multi-faceted implementation programs across diverse stakeholders. Oversee end-to-end delivery, ensuring on-time, high-quality outcomes aligned with business goals. Partner with program management to track progress, resolve roadblocks, and ensure client satisfaction.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and senior business leaders, translating business objectives into technical solutions. Present architecture strategies and delivery updates to executive committees, steering groups, and program boards.
Domain Expertise
Leverage deep knowledge of Financial Services and Insurance operations to design solutions tailored to complex regulatory, compliance, and customer-experience needs. Ensure alignment with domain-specific requirements such as risk management, client data handling, and omnichannel experience delivery.
Consulting & Advisory
Provide strategic guidance, informed by prior Big 4 or top-tier consulting experience, to help clients achieve digital transformation objectives. Mentor and coach delivery teams on best practices, architecture frameworks, and client engagement.
Required Qualifications
12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 6+ years specializing in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Proven track record of leading AEM solution re-architecture in complex, multi-organization environments. Extensive experience delivering transformation programs within Financial Services and Insurance. Strong executive presence with the ability to confidently engage and influence C-level stakeholders. Demonstrated success managing delivery teams across multi-faceted organizations (matrixed/global). Solid background in consulting, with preference for prior Big 4 consulting firm experience. Exceptional communication, presentation, and client advisory skills.
Preferred Skills
Expertise in integrating AEM with enterprise systems (CRM, data platforms, digital marketing tools). Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and DevOps frameworks. Experience in regulatory-driven industries and knowledge of compliance requirements. Strong ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on technical leadership.
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (master's preferred). Industry certifications in AEM or Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, etc.) are a plus.
