Title: Senior Accountant Financial Reporting
Location: Princeton, NJ
Hybrid: Remote 3 days per week
Salary: $80000 - $100000 plus bonus
Overview of the Senior Accountant Financial Reporting position
A newly created Senior Accountant role in the Princeton area is open due to company growth. 2 to 6 years of accounting experience required, CPA preferred.
What will be expected of you as Senior Accountant Financial Reporting?
Participate in the month-end, quarterly, and annual financial close processes which requires meeting all deadlines, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and reports. Preparation of account reconciliations, journal entries and analytics procedures. Assist with preparing monthly/quarterly internal management and Board reporting. Assist with preparing quarterly and annual external filings, including consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and management’s discussion and analysis. Assist accounting for investments as they relate to corporate compensation plans. Assist with various special projects such as finance systems and technologies. Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease process times, streamline work processes and work collaboratively with the business. What qualifies you for this Senior Accountant Financial Reporting position?
Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. 3-7 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and SEC reporting rules and regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. CPA a plus (or parts passed). SAP and HFM reporting a plus.
