involves serving and safeguarding clients across residential and other environments. What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities
Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to deter unauthorized access and disturbances Communicate clearly with residents, guests, and property management, providing information and assistance as needed Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately in reports according to Allied Universal guidelines Follow all site-specific procedures for access control, visitor management, and emergency situations Maintain awareness of surroundings and report maintenance or security-related concerns What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments Desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles Valid armed guard card or license as required by state/local laws Proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client Must be at least 21 years of age (armed roles require 21+) Valid driver’s license required for driving positions (must meet driver policy requirements) Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws; Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with applicable laws Drug screen to the extent permitted by law Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment Why Join Us
