Overview
Security Professional - Armed Government Patrols at Allied Universal. Location: Miami, FL. Your duties include patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering professional customer service in government-related environments. This is an armed patrol role that supports a secure environment and upholds the company values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while carrying a firearm as required by the post profile Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity Monitor for unusual activity and/or potential threats, reporting observations according to site protocols Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the government facility, verifying credentials as needed Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders during incidents as directed by site procedures Complete detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols Participate in ongoing training related to armed patrol duties and security-related best practices What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements
Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client Must be at least 21 years of age Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Background check as required by law Drug screen as permitted by law Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only Why Join Us
