WHAT YOU’LL DO
Develop specifications for the application of LO materials
Develop guidelines and specifications for the incorporation of supportable LO design features
Develop Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) verification plans
Develop procedures for Tier 1 and Tier 2 testing of LO aircraft and/or components
Aid in the development of manufacturing plans for Low Observable air vehicles, including infrastructure, materials, component fabrication, and assembly processes
Select, develop, and test LO materials to determine physical, electrical, and/or environmental properties
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Hands-on experience performing maintenance related activities on LO aircraft
5+ years of experience
Experience with Tier 1/Tier 2 LO diagnostic tools
Experience in the design and/or manufacture of LO materials or LO components
Experience with LO Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) buildups and verification
Working knowledge of LO design and analysis, survivability, and susceptibility
Must possess and be able to maintain a U.S. TS Security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with indoor and/or outdoor RCS testing
10+ years of experience
Experience with effects of defects/effects of repair (EoD/EoR) test plan development and/or testing
Experience with CAD tools such as (CATIA, NX)
Experience in applying LO coatings
RCS or IR analysis experience
Advanced composite and structural aircraft repair experience on LO platforms
