Build relationships to create new clients via face-to-face and virtual sourcing strategies (residential, business, networking, introductions and referrals, social media, and speaking engagements). Deeply understand clients and prospective clients’ needs to accelerate trust and create personalized strategies to help them achieve goals. Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high-quality, streamlined client experience compliant with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines. Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to improve effectiveness and results. Create a highly engaging environment in the branch built on mutual trust, respect, feedback and accountability. Qualifications and Licensing
Skills/Requirements: Candidates should have at least one of the following: a bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred) or equivalent work-related experience; financial services or sales experience; financial services registration, licensing, or certification; or professional/military career progression. Licensing: SIE (can be obtained without firm sponsorship); Series 7 and Series 66 required; registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the paid study period if not currently held. FINRA registrations required within three months; state insurance licenses required. Ongoing training and CE requirements to maintain licenses. Benefits and Compensation
Edward Jones’ compensation and benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, voluntary benefits, disability income continuation, basic life and basic AD&D coverage. Some coverages are provided at no cost to financial advisors. 401(k) retirement plan and tax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA) available. Paid sick leave and paid time off where required by law. Potential bonuses, profit sharing, and participation in the Travel Award Program. Access to an Employee Assistance Program. For more information, see the benefits page. Compensation program for new financial advisors includes trainee pay, a supplemental salary for up to five years, commissions, and compensation for new assets gathered in the first five years; supplemental starting salary range typically between $45,000 and $100,000.
