Program Overview
The Corporate Development Analyst Program is designed to prepare future leaders of Palomar. During a 2-year program you will work across several key functions including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic planning, market research, insurance programs, reinsurance, investment management, and investor relations. You’ll receive hands-on training and high-impact assignments that provide tangible work experience. Participants will work closely with Palomar executives and benefit from one-on-one coaching, mentorship, and cohort-based learning. This program builds both technical and interpersonal business skills, deep industry knowledge, and valuable networking opportunities. Program Outcomes
At the conclusion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to pursue advancement within departments such as corporate development, insurance programs, reinsurance, or investment management. Prepare analyses related to internal strategic initiatives and M&A Develop reports and presentations to support strategic planning Conduct company and market research Monitor the competitive landscape to identify new product opportunities Create deal memorandums and financial models for insurance programs Support reinsurance placements and transactions Contribute to investment strategy through asset class analysis Prepare monthly and quarterly investment portfolio reports Assist with investor relations and earnings release activities Academic Requirements
