The Corporate Development Analyst Program is designed to prepare future leaders of Palomar. During a 2-year program you will work across several key functions including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic planning, market research, insurance programs, reinsurance, investment management, and investor relations. You’ll receive hands-on training and high-impact assignments that provide tangible work experience. Participants will work closely with Palomar executives and benefit from one-on-one coaching, mentorship, and cohort-based learning. This program builds both technical and interpersonal business skills, deep industry knowledge, and valuable networking opportunities. At the conclusion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to pursue advancement within departments such as corporate development, insurance programs, reinsurance, or investment management. early-career professionals, including recent graduates
who are analytical, curious, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment. What you will do
Prepare analyses related to internal strategic initiatives and M&A Develop reports and presentations to support strategic planning Conduct company and market research Monitor the competitive landscape to identify new product opportunities Create deal memorandums and financial models for insurance programs Support reinsurance placements and transactions Contribute to investment strategy through asset class analysis Prepare monthly and quarterly investment portfolio reports Assist with investor relations and earnings release activities Program Expectations and Outcomes
Contribute to cross-functional teams with the opportunity for expanded roles post-program Participate in rotational assignments to build critical industry knowledge and technical skills Gain exposure to M&A, corporate development, investments, and insurance operations Foster innovation and creative thinking to support Palomar’s continued growth Receive personalized mentorship, including access to senior leadership Qualifications
Anticipated start date: Late Summer 2026 Open to applicants expecting to earn a bachelor’s degree in 2026 Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented mindset What you will get in return
