Immigration Paralegal
to join our team in Lynnwood, Washington. Compassion for the immigrant community is a must. Our clients come from all walks of life and are from every country in the world. RESPONSIBILITIES: Taking on the role as the primary caseworker on existing and new cases; Basic firm accounting (end of month billings, communicating with all staff on billings, our CPA firm, and firm ownership); Managing cases and communicating directly with clients; Preparing immigration petitions and supporting documentation for the various immigration agencies including Homeland Security, State Department, and the Immigration Court; Answering phone calls and general client intake procedures; Meeting with clients; REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree; 3+ years of experience working as an immigration paralegal; Experience with Microsoft Office, PDF software, and ability to learn new software; Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines; Ability to prioritize and multitask; Excellent professional communication skills; STRONG PREFERENCES: Paralegal Certificate; COMPENSATION: Base hourly wage will be
$27-$35 , depending on experience; On billable matters, hourly wage will be
$90 ; Two weeks paid vacation per year; Medical and dental insurance provided after 3 months of employment if desired; Ability to join company cell phone plan if desired; Annual raise (base salary) of 3-5% depending on performance and economic outlook;
