Job Title:

Business Development Representative - SMB (MoLo Solutions, ArcBest) The Business Development Representative focuses on selling the MoLo truckload service line and building/managing a portfolio of small to medium-sized (SMB) customers across North America. Targets industries within the truckload market including food & beverage, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, and retail. The role prospectpects new customers and sells MoLo, collaborating with various ArcBest service lines to provide integrated transportation solutions. The primary point of contact for customer interactions, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery. This position is located in the MoLo office in Chicago, IL. Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities, sales interactions, and lead statuses in the CRM system. Continuously monitor industry changes, competitor activities, and market conditions to refine sales strategies. Prospect and generate leads through various channels (cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, LinkedIn, etc.) to identify potential customers. Proactively identify issues and resolve problems to uphold the commitment to service. Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualify and nurture leads by assessing customer needs and focusing on selling MoLo, an ArcBest Truckload Service. Collaborate cross-functionally with carrier sales, yield management, account development, legal, accounting, and other ArcBest service lines to provide a comprehensive solution for customers. Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers in SMBs. Own the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to assisting and overseeing revenue collection as needed. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor\'s Degree, preferred. Experience: Previous customer sales, operations, or service experience, preferred. Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail. Ability to negotiate and reach outcomes that gain stakeholder support. Thrives in a fast-paced environment. Confident decision-making and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management to prioritize and meet deadlines. Highly coachable and eager to learn. Strong listening and communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to engage with customers. Work Hours: Generally 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload. Location: In office for training, then hybrid with 3 days/week in the Chicago MoLo office. MoLo Chicago office address: 167 Green Street, Fulton Market District. Compensation: This is an hourly position paid biweekly; variable compensation is included. About Us
