Work closely with the Agile Product Catalog (APC) and development teams to ensure the required product functionality to meet market needs. Collaborate with product, project, and development stakeholders and teams, gathering requirements, coordinating dependencies, and identifying risks and opportunities. Conduct research, perform studies to obtain data, and analyze problems to advise on or recommend solutions, utilizing knowledge of theory and principles. Present the customer to the development team. Own the scope of the project, work with business sponsors and sponsor users, identify personas, define the minimum viable product (MVP), and define hypotheses. Manage and make visible the product backlog or the prioritized list of requirements for future product development. Define, write, and rank the user stories that direct the design and development work. Prioritize by iterating the order of items in the product backlog. Answer questions from the development team regarding customer needs and views of how the team is implementing a product feature. Collaborate with designers on the overall user experience, attend plays backs with sponsor users and stakeholders, and collaborate through user testing. Accept user stories. Decide when to go to production and own or collaborate on the "Go To Market" plan. Work with the Squad Lead to execute the biweekly Iteration Planning Meeting. Lead story grooming sessions or requirements clarifications sessions. Translate product strategy into requirement documents, using cases and process flows. Work with application support and development teams to fix software bugs and escalated issues. Write necessary stories to deliver functionality, such as user interaction stories, system integration stories, or API level stories. Document, analyze, and propose process changes or reengineering approaches based on an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to current and future state business and technical environments. Work with the APC team to assist with the modernization of current applications to the cloud environment. Telecommuting permitted 2-3 days per week. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field and 7 years of experience in product management or business analysis. Working with business stakeholders and collaborating across verticals; Airline scheduling and network planning domain; Airline Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) domain; Using Digital Agility tools to manage application requirements, write Epics, capabilities, and stories; and Using SCRUM methodology to deliver software.
