POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Preschool and Family Services Director, the OST Group Leader & Teen Coordinator assists with the development, organization and implementation of high-quality YMCA after school (K-8) and teen programs. The hours for this position will be 12 pm -8 pm or 1 pm -9 pm depending on day and needs of the programs. This role transitions during the summer into a leadership role in Pikati Day Camp, which will also require administrative responsibilities for OST registrations.

One to two years related experience preferred, as a coordinator or supervisor of childcare/teen programs. Minimum age requirement of 21. Previous curriculum development experience preferred. Committing to support and further our anti-racist work as an organization. Learning about our initiatives and the continuous work and being able to vocalize with members if needed. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Experience with working with teens in a community center environment preferred. Strong administrative background/experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (excel, PowerPoint). Ability to learn new systems utilized for program (SGA). Typical requirements within 30 days of hire include completion of: CPR and First Aid. Fulfillment of state-specific hiring standards, EEC requirements and completion of YMCA program specific certifications. Obtain 7-D license within 30 days of hire. (Must have clean driving record.) Proactive, reliable, and consistent.
