Let’s make plastics recycling real — together. Purpose To be a driver of material management within the plant. Coordinate with primary suppliers for in and outbound material movements. Manage the day-to-day shipping and receiving departments. Oversee the inventory transactions and their accuracy. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks General Policy Always maintain raw and finished product warehouse in tour and audit ready condition. Ensure all incoming raw materials are properly labeled and received. Ensure all outgoing finished product is properly labeled, accurate and timely accounted for. Ensure inbound quality checks of bales are conducted and recorded in a timely manner. Responsible for all physical inventory counts. Responsible for inventory audits. Responsible for accurate raw material and finished product inventories. Warehouse and packaging team scheduling. Oversees the bulk management of materials through silos, railcar loading/unloading, and bulk truck loading/unloading. Oversees the staging and storage of all finished goods produced. Oversees the staging of all finished goods for shipping. Oversees the storing of all raw materials. Oversees the packaging line for loading of gaylord boxes and supersacks from bulk. Oversee and schedule the silo blending plans per customer requirements in coordination with Quality Manager and Production Manager. Coordinate with Customer Service Manager to maintain stock levels of all packaging supplies. Manages the work force in both shipping and receiving. Coordinate all customer requirements for warehouse shipping and receiving activities. Drive continuous improvement and corrective actions for best practices in responsible areas. Coordinate with management team for root cause analysis and corrective actions resulting from customer claims. Responsible for the Warehouse budget. Works with customer service to schedule carrier deliveries/pickups and rail receiving/shipments. Follow all Quality, Safety and Environmental Procedures. Uphold the Blue Polymer Code of Conduct standards. Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager. Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Computer data entry skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must possess excellent interpersonal, people management and problem-solving skills. Detail oriented and ability to prioritize. Able to multi-task. Possess problem solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis. Self-motivator. Must be able to operate a fork truck. Competencies; Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA) To perform this role successfully, an individual must have experience achieving desired result(s) in their areas of responsibility.
