The Vice President of Business Operations is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and responsible for overseeing the financial, accounting, and information technology functions of the organization. This role ensures the integrity of financial data, maintains robust internal controls, and provides strategic insights that support the organization\'s revenue-generating business units. The VP will analyze complex data, model scenarios, and generate critical reports. The role ensures compliance with government contracting regulations (e.g., DCAA, FAR, CAS), overseeing compliance and audit readiness. This leader implements best practices across these functions, streamlines processes, and fosters a collaborative environment to enhance overall organizational effectiveness and support the achievement of strategic business objectives. What we are looking for

What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have): Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master\'s degree (MBA or equivalent) or CPA certification is highly preferred. Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. Experience overseeing information technology functions, including strategic planning, infrastructure management, and system implementations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH, conditional formatting, data validation, and financial modeling. Extensive experience with government contracting accounting, including understanding of DCAA, FAR, CAS, indirect rate structures, and cost-plus contract accounting. Proven experience managing all aspects of the accounting cycle (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting). Strong understanding of financial consolidation systems, Onestream. Demonstrated success in streamlining accounting processes, implementing financial controls, and improving efficiency. Strong understanding of accounting software and ERP systems, Deltek Costpoint. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate IT, finance and accounting teams, fostering continuous improvement and professional development. Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex accounting, finance, and IT projects (e.g., system upgrades, audit readiness, IT infrastructure improvements). Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) applied to accounting functions is a plus. A proactive and results-oriented approach with a focus on financial integrity, compliance, and providing actionable insights to support business growth. Required Level of Security Clearance:
