Overview
This is an in-office Law Clerk role with Burrows + Stutsman LLP in San Diego, CA. The law clerk will be responsible for assisting attorneys with conducting research, drafting legal documents, and preparing for hearings, mediations, and trials. Law clerks will be given the opportunity to observe depositions, mediations, and hearings as those opportunities arise. They will work hand in hand with our attorneys and have the opportunity to earn increasing responsibilities in their assignments while receiving the mentorship they need to grow in their capabilities as future litigators. Assist attorneys with conducting research Draft legal documents Prepare for hearings, mediations, and trials Observe depositions, mediations, and hearings as opportunities arise Work hand in hand with attorneys and grow in responsibilities while receiving mentorship Qualifications
2ndyear student Strong research skills and proficiency in negotiation Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication skills, written and verbal Excellent writing skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
