Job Title: Lab Operations Project Manager
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 12 month contract with potential to extend
Manage all “move” requests from all campuses
Manage change requests to change lab spaces, and acquire or move equipment/tools for teams across Sunnyvale, Burlingame Menlo Park, Sausalito, and Fremont.
Track all change projects for coordination and execution, feasibility, EHS and safety, implementation,install and commissioning checklist, and project completion.
Coordinate roles and set expectations across all cross-functional teams to plan and execute change projects.
Coordinate lab walkthroughs and meetings to collect request requirements from end users and with cross functional partners to assess budget, feasibility, space planning, EHS safety, and logistics of execution.
Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Be aware of city permitting deadlines and criteria
Ensure requests are assessed for permitting and work with end users to complete approvals prior to permit cycle deadlines.
Maintain an updated database that captures updates for all tasks. Providing regular reports to end users and cross-functional partners on project progress, risks, and issues.
Ensuring that projects are completed on time and that any delays are addressed quickly, including coordinating with end user groups, cross functional teams, and external vendors.
Coordinate with the construction team by providing specifications and assign technicians to complete foot printing for change requests involving construction work.
Identifying opportunities for change process improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
