DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a
Senior RCDD
to join our team on the upcoming Enterprise DISA JSP ETM Services 2.0 program. This position is onsite in the Washington, DC area. Duties & Responsibilities
Supporting JSP customers in defining network infrastructure requirements and verifying the need for an ECP. Assisting in the classification of tasks, determining if requirements fall within MAC or ECP scope, and supporting assessments to ensure infrastructure and network needs align with JSP standards and guidelines. Leading technical design aspects for infrastructure changes across various project types (No Cost, Small, Medium, Large, and Complex ECPs), particularly those involving complex cabling, port expansions, and secure connections. Utilizing expertise in telecommunications standards (e.g., ANSI/TIA/EIA) to develop solutions involving cable installations, port expansions, VLAN configurations, and VPN setups, as well as ensuring designs meet JSP security standards. Managing regular and expedited ECP workflows, ensuring adherence to timelines, and facilitating smooth coordination for expedited delivery as needed. Collaborating with the COR and ACOR to prepare and review detailed plans, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and other project documentation required for ECP approval and implementation. Developing Engineering Installation Plans (EIPs) and Circuit Installation Plans (CIPs) for each ECP to ensure accurate and high-quality installations. Conducting quality assurance inspections post-installation and supporting the project closeout process through delivery and acceptance verification to confirm compliance with JSP and DoD standards. Providing monthly ECP status reports, tracking project milestones, and managing documentation storage for ECPs on a shared network for government and contractor access. Engaging with government-provided project management tools to ensure accurate tracking of ECP schedules, critical paths, and ongoing progress for JSP stakeholders. Qualifications
Active Secret clearance required. Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field with 10+ years experience; 3+ years within the DOD environment. Outstanding mathematics and IT abilities. Performed site visits for data collection and evaluation of telecommunications and building technologies systems, equipment, components, and materials for projects with and without well-defined scopes. Maintained Inside Plant cable infrastructure to include conduit, cable trays, copper, coax, fiber, and all associated elements. Developed EIPs required for installation of cable racks, wiring of the racks and testing required during installation. Current on codes and technologies appropriate to the telecommunications and building technologies design/construction industry. Certifications: Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification.
