At Thompson Palm Springs, a member of the Hyatt collection, we believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive colleagues who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences. This role will report to the Director of Finance.

The Purchasing & Receiving Clerkis responsible for checking in all incoming products and guest packages. This person is also responsible for shipping guest packages and in-house needs. This person must be able to lift a moderate weight and must have good communication skills.This is a great opportunity to get a startwith Hyatt as a Purchasing & Receiving Clerk.

This is a

non-

exempt

(hourly) role. The budgeted salary range for this position is

$20 - $22 per hour.

This is the pay for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience and education.

Qualifications:

· A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

· Previous purchasing/receiving experience preferred

· Prior Birch Street - Procure to Pay System experience preferred

· Experience communicating and working with senior hotel management

· Refined verbal and written communication skills.

· Good analytical skills.

· Strong business relationship skills.

· Experience in Purchasing or a related field is required

· Previous Hospitality experience is preferred

· Strong knowledge in MS Word & MS Excel

· Ability to lift a moderate to heavy amount of weight
