Job Title: Data Analyst (Power BI & Excel Specialist)

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our client’s team. This is a newly created role that will play a critical part in supporting business decision-making by transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in Power BI and Excel, with the ability to independently build dashboards, reports, and data models that deliver meaningful value across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. Build and optimize data models to support reporting and analytics needs. Create complex formulas, pivot tables, charts, and automated reports in Excel. Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources. Translate business needs into technical requirements and provide data-driven recommendations. Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting platforms. Continuously improve reporting processes by identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Qualifications Required:
1–5 years of experience in a data analysis role. Strong proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, report building). Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups; macros preferred). Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
