Summary
Under the general direction of the Office Manager, this position has a broad responsibility for a variety of administrative functions that spans Human Resources and Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Human Resources:
Assist with recruiting & hiring: Finding, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates. Onboarding and offboarding process. Support deployment and oversight of internal staff training and professional development. Track staff performance and productivity milestones and key metrics. Employee relations: Manage employee issues, conflicts, and communications. Maintain open door communications with all employees. Conduct weekly outreach and office drop-ins to make sure everyone feels supported and issues are addressed. Maintains accurate and up-to-date electronic employee personnel files within HRIS system. Assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, time prep, etc. Orients newly eligible employees, and processes enrollment forms and change requests. Worker's Comp processing Mandatory training administration Manage and maintain employee performance review tracking and issuing Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must:
Possess extraordinary attention to detail. Be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues. Be proficient with payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications. Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions. Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects. Have good communication skills to work effectively with staff and vendors. Be a team player willing to assist where needed and be a self- starter. Computer skills: Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel or Google Sheets skills, HRIS Software experience Education and/or Experience
Associates degree in related field, HR Certification or 3+ years of related experience.
