A typical day for the
Senior System Test Analyst
on this team involves planning and executing test cases for the Connexion portal and other client-hosted applications within the Cloud (built on AWS). The Analyst uses TestRail to manage test plans, track execution, and document results, while Jira is used to log defects and align testing tasks with Agile sprints. They collaborate with developers and business analysts in daily stand-ups, using Confluence to maintain test documentation, user stories, and release notes. The role also includes validating application behavior in cloud environments, supporting compliance testing, and ensuring that all updates meet security and performance standards before deployment. In addition, they complete supportive administrative and lead activities related to cloud testing and collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and continuous improvement. Their work is essential to maintaining the quality, reliability, and compliance of cloud-based healthcare applications. Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Possible overtime, when needed to meet project timelines. Required technologies:
Agile Testing and CI/CD Experience Cloud hosted application(s) testing experience Identify, track, and manage bugs using TestRail, JIRA/Confluence, or ALM. Testing Tools (e.g., Selenium Grid, JUnit, TestNG, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman). Strong knowledge of lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or cloud migration testing. Design, Develop and execute test strategies, test cases, and automated scripts for cloud-native, containerized, and legacy applications migrated to AWS cloud. Lead functional, regression, integration, system, failover, and performance testing across multi-tier AWS Cloud environments. Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP API testing, SQL, and test automation frameworks. Solid understanding of test data strategy, version control, defect triage, and test metrics reporting. Implement automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, AWS CodePipeline) AWS Services - EC2, IAM, S3, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CodeBuild Security and compliance testing (HIPAA, FedRAMP, NIST-800) 508 / WCAG compliance testing (Burp Suite/OWASP ZAP, WAVE) Medicare experience Nice to have:
Understanding DevOps practices and helps in managing cloud-based analytics pipelines and deployments. Experience with GitHub Actions, version control, automated testing, and deployment of workflows. AWS Services - DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, Artifact. Minimum required work experience:
7 years of IT experience to include experience developing test plans and/or test matrices. Required education/equivalencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree; OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience; OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 11 years without a degree) Interested?
