Position Summary

The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer plays a key role in owning and advancing the organization's BI, analytics, and data warehousing platforms, with a strong focus on Power BI, SSIS Packages and Oracle BI (OBIEE/OAS/OAC) technologies. This role is instrumental in enabling a unified, trusted data environment that empowers business users with actionable insights and supports strategic decision-making.

Working closely with the Senior BI Architect and cross-functional IT teams, the Senior BI Developer will lead the design, development, and optimization of dashboards, reports, and data models that support OAS BI Enterprise platform as well as existing SSIS packages and job within the Power BI. This includes enhancing existing BI platforms, supporting data warehouse initiatives, and ensuring seamless integration with ERP and other enterprise systems.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a proactive mindset to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the BI landscape.

Responsibilities Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Oracle BI (OBIEE/OAS) to meet evolving business needs. Support existing Power BI dashboards, monitor jobs on SQL server agents and enhance SSIS packages. Support the day-to-day operations of Business Intelligence and all related systems, collaborating with IT support teams, to ensure timely and reliable business operations. Monitor and optimize BI platform performance and ensure data quality across all reporting environments. Collaborate with BI Architects to design logical and physical analytical data models for both transactional and analytical databases, based on data requirements gathered from the business. Partner with business Data Stewards and IT Developers to implement and maintain data governance across systems and processes. Create and maintain data dictionaries and data lineage documentation, resolving data anomalies (data quality issues and ambiguous data definitions), and establishing data integrity checks and controls. Develop, monitor, and maintain efficient ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery; troubleshoot and resolve issues related to source system extracts, data mapping and loading. Assists business subject matter experts (SMEs) in self-service reports and meaningful analytics. Manage and execute production change requests related to Business Intelligence and Reporting platforms, ensuring proper documentation and minimal disruption. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform BI strategy and platform enhancements. Participate in BI platform upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning initiatives to ensure scalability and reliability. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on Business Intelligence development. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) in an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment. Minimum 2 years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI or a comparable enterprise BI platform. Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), including building and maintaining data integration processes. Minimum 3 years of experience working with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS). Proven experience in logical and physical data modeling for data warehouses and data marts. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience resolving complex issues within ODI and related BI tools. Demonstrated experience in Sales and Finance reporting, including the development of cubes, dashboards, and KPIs for these business domains. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages used in ETL development and maintenance. Familiarity with IT systems and business processes in a manufacturing environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business leaders and subject matter experts. Good working knowing knowledge and experience in a Unix or Linux environment. Preferred Education and Experience:

Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials and Supply Chain Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business partners to analyze external data sources (e.g., Point-of-Sale, market data) for insights into product category performance and positioning. Experience with Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (PBCS), Hyperion Planning, and Essbase.
