TERREPOWER
Job Description
Position Summary
The Senior Data Analyst, Supply Chain leads data-driven initiatives that optimize inventory management and global operations (with primary focus on the U.S. and Canada). This role maintains and enhances critical databases, develops actionable KPIs, and applies advanced analytics to uncover trends and risks. Working cross-functionally, you'll convert findings into practical changes that elevate operational excellence and business outcomes.
Responsibilities SQL data modeling & ETL: Write performant SQL to extract, clean, join, and automate datasets from ERP/WMS/TMS; create reusable views, stored procedures, and QA checks. Semantic models in BI: Build star/snowflake models and dataflows for Power BI; define relationships, measures (DAX), and row-level security to ensure single-source-of-truth reporting. Dashboarding & self-service: Develop executive and operator dashboards (inventory accuracy, turns, DOH, fill rate/OTIF, pick accuracy, dock-to-stock, forecast bias); enable drill-through/alerting. Performance analytics: Lead root-cause and variance analyses (cycle counts, shrink, service failures, cost drivers); quantify impact and recommend fixes. KPI governance: Define metric logic and data lineage; publish documentation and run cadence reviews with Ops/Logistics/Finance. Automation & reliability: Schedule refreshes, monitor failures, and implement data quality rules/outlier handling to keep reports accurate and on time. Advanced analysis: Apply time-series and regression techniques for demand, inventory, and service forecasting; scenario test "what-if" changes in policy or parameters. Stakeholder enablement: Translate technical findings for non-technical audiences; create quick ad-hoc SQL/BI views for DC managers and planners. Minimum Qualification
6+ years in analytics with strong SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning) and Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dataflows). Experience pulling from ERP/WMS/TMS (Oracle or similar) and building supply-chain KPIs (inventory accuracy, turns, DOH, OTIF, cost-to-serve). Proven track record automating pipelines and maintaining data quality (validation rules, exceptions, monitoring). Nice to have: Python/R for deeper analysis; basics of forecasting/time-series; Git/source control for BI assets. About Us
About Us:
For over 35 years, TERREPOWER (formerly BBB Industries) has been a leader in sustainable manufacturing, driving the circular economy by extending the life of essential products in the automotive and industrial markets.
Founded in 1987 in Daphne, Alabama by the Bigler family, TERREPOWER began as a small regional remanufacturer of starters and alternators. Our commitment to quality and innovation quickly earned us a reputation as a trusted name in the automotive industry.
Recognizing new challenges and opportunities, in 2019 we set our sights on EV battery upcycling-addressing one of the industry's most pressing issues. Our engineering team pioneered solutions to extend EV battery life, pushing the boundaries of sustainable innovation.
Recognizing that demand for solar panels would exceed availability and 100,000 tons of waste would potentially go into landfills by 2035, our team searched for an innovative way to upcycle solar panels. With an eye on the future, we developed ways to upcycle solar panels.
Rooted in family and community values, we're proud to have second-generation employees contributing to our legacy. Backed by Clearlake Capital, we've expanded our footprint into Europe with facilities in Spain, Italy, Denmark, Germany and Poland. We now sustainably manufacture and supply an assortment of nondiscretionary repair parts across more than 90 countries.
As we move forward under the TERREPOWER name, we remain committed to the same values that have always defined us: entrepreneurship, teamwork, customer-centered, sustainability, safety.
