Route Pay + Bonuses = SYGMA Top Dollars. Job Summary Your role involves safely transporting products from the warehouse to customers using a tractor-trailer. You will be responsible for delivering and unloading products according to customer invoices and company standards. Highly Maintained Equipment - all automatics 10 Paid Holidays! Responsibilities: Unload products from the trailer, using manual or assisted methods, adhering to customer specifications in all weather conditions. Complete paperwork according to guidelines, including DOT logs and vehicle maintenance reports. Follow food safety protocols and ensure sanitary conditions in the vehicle. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service and communication. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required Minimum Education/Experience: High school diploma/GED or equivalent, with 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school is accepted as equivalent education. Certifications: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe delivery practices. Skills in long-distance driving and effective communication. Ability to handle hazardous materials and operate various vehicles along with basic math functions. Strong command of the English language for communication purposes. Physical Demands: Routine lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing up to 50 pounds and maneuvering loaded dollies in various conditions. Work Environment: Exposure to variable weather conditions; typically working an overnight schedule including weekends and holidays to fulfill customer needs.
