JOB SUMMARY: Your primary responsibility will be to safely transport products from the warehouse using a tractor-trailer to various customer locations, ensuring the proper delivery and unloading of products according to customer invoices and company standards. The More You Drive; The More You Earn! RESPONSIBILITIES: Unload products from the trailer using equipment or manually, following procedures regardless of weather conditions. Complete all paperwork according to company and governmental guidelines, ensuring accuracy in logs, inspections, and invoices. Meet all food safety protocols, maintaining sanitary conditions and inspecting products before delivery. Establish and maintain good relationships with customers through excellent service. Other duties as assigned by Management. REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma/GED/equivalent, with 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a driving school may substitute for the high school diploma. CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, with insurability to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe lifting practices. Skill in long-distance driving under various conditions. Ability to operate equipment such as a tractor-trailer, hand cart, and to meet minimum productivity levels. Capable of performing basic math functions and effective organization of work activities independently. Proficient in communicating in English to understand signs, respond to inquiries, and complete reports. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires sitting, talking, and hearing regularly, as well as lifting and moving products up to 50 pounds. Associates must be able to climb in and out of vehicles, bend, twist, and reach for products in varied conditions. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Exposure to varying weather conditions and mechanical parts is required. Work hours typically include nights, weekends, and holidays.
