Director of Sales, West Coast - Streaming

at Locality. You will report to the VP of Sales and help connect brands and agencies with local audiences through Local Streaming by guiding strategies and overseeing clients in your region. Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and drive market growth. Collaborate with senior sales leaders to develop strategies for navigating Holdco, independent, and client-direct opportunities across the West Coast territory. Lead, mentor, and grow Account Executives (AEs), provide feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews. Prospect, qualify, and grow the account list, driving advertising revenue through direct sales within the designated market. Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance team skills. Manage a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce.com, projecting sales monthly, quarterly, and annually. Meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas by selling standard media, video, mobile, programmatic, and custom advertising solutions. Lead negotiation processes to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong, long-term client relationships. Position Locality to key agency and client decision-makers to build strategic relationships and drive revenue growth. Communicate Locality’s value proposition and align solutions with client needs and objectives. Identify and communicate market trends within client industries. Collaborate with Marketing, Planning, Ad-Ops, Broadcast, and Account Management to ensure a seamless client experience. Coordinate with sales support teams (ad ops, marketing research, planning, finance) as needed. Analyze market and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and adjust sales approaches. Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is highly preferred but not required. 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 2-3 years in sales management. Track record of meeting sales quotas and ability to prospect and develop business across the region. Deep understanding of the market with established client and agency relationships (Strategy teams, Investment Teams, Media Planners, Media Supervisors, etc.). Experience selling a diverse product portfolio, with specific experience in streaming; additional experience in local broadcast, display, mobile, and programmatic video advertising is a plus. Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM tools; familiarity with advertising technology platforms. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms. Experience selling programmatic and understanding of the OTT landscape; preferred. Experience with convergent sales that combine streaming and broadcast is highly preferred. Ability to receive feedback and contribute to a positive work environment. Compensation

Compensation includes a competitive salary of $165,000-$185,000 and a commission plan that can bring total earnings to $280,000-$310,000 (dependent on experience and skillset). Benefits include health care, retirement benefits, and paid time off. Equal Opportunity
