Inside Sales Manager

PTC . Location: Boston, MA Reports To: Director of Inside Sales, North America Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Inside Sales Manager to lead and grow our BDR team. This individual will be responsible for building a high‑performing team focused on pipeline generation, nurturing qualified leads, developing outbound campaigns, and supporting the overall sales strategy. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing outbound sales or lead generation teams and possesses strong coaching, analytical, and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development: Hire, train, and manage a team of BDRs, ensuring high performance and consistent achievement of KPIs; conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching sessions; foster a positive, goal‑oriented team culture. Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute inbound & outbound strategies in coordination with Vertical Sales, Product Sales, and marketing leadership to drive qualified leads and meetings for Account Executives (AEs); set and track performance metrics such as outreach volume, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and meeting targets; implement and refine BDR processes and best practices. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to align on campaigns, messaging, and lead qualification; collaborate with AEs and sales leadership to ensure seamless handoff of leads and consistent pipeline development; provide feedback on market trends, campaign effectiveness, and prospect insights. Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and analyze team performance using CRM and sales enablement tools; deliver regular reports and insights to leadership on BDR team results and pipeline contribution; identify areas for improvement and implement data‑driven solutions. Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation. 1–2 years of experience managing a sales development or comparable industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation goals. Strong understanding of outbound prospecting techniques, lead qualification, and sales cycles. Experience with Sales Tech Stack – Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator. Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills. Highly organized, analytical, and data‑driven. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Product Development Solutions. Knowledge of modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger). Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. About Equal Opportunity
