SHOOK also runs industry conferences and exclusive experiences where asset manager sponsors pay for access to SHOOK’s ranked advisors, a key part of their marketing and sales strategies.

Purpose

SHOOK Research is seeking a driven Sales Lead to grow sponsorship and marketing revenue from asset managers and alternative investment firms. This role is focused on selling access to SHOOK’s advisor platform through sponsorships at SHOOK’s flagship events (e.g., Top Advisor Summits, Alternatives Summit, Women’s Summit) and other premium offerings (e.g., co-branded media, curated experiences that give asset managers access to top advisors). You’ll lead high-impact sales conversations with senior marketers and distribution teams, positioning SHOOK’s unique programs as strategic channels for selling investment products into the private wealth ecosystem. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of sales experience, preferably related to selling into the marketing and sales divisions of asset managers.

SHOOK currently has relationships with 100+ blue-chip traditional and alternative asset management firms that have robust demand to work with SHOOK in order to gain access to the top-producing wealth advisors in SHOOK’s network. Resultantly, there is a large opportunity – with clear excess demand – to sell event sponsorships and other marketing initiatives into these firms.

Experience and Competencies

Deep understanding of the financial advisor and asset management landscape.

Experience selling into traditional and alternative asset managers.

Proven track record of selling sponsorships or marketing partnerships.

Strong sales and negotiation skills with a consultative approach.

Comfortable building and iterating on sales strategy in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Compensation

Annual Salary: $150k plus annual bonus

Annual Bonus: Up to 100% of base salary
