Overview

OrthoPediatrics is an orthopedic company focused on advancing pediatric orthopedics. The Territory Manager will be responsible for assisting sales and service activities in an assigned territory, supporting customer satisfaction, lead generation, revenue growth, and long-term account goals in line with company values for the non-surgical division. Responsibilities

Support the sales of non-surgical devices (i.e., specialty braces) tailored to the Pediatric Medical Community in the designated area. Develop technical selling skills and product knowledge to effectively present OPSB products and services in collaboration with the Sales Specialist. Understand pricing and proposal models and how they pertain to the medical/hospital contract arena. Attend O&P clinics as directed, assist staff with product questions, and educate on appropriate use and assembly. Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients on OPSB solutions. Develop a database of qualified leads with local Surgical Specialists through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling, direct mail, email, and networking. Create and deliver effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify business problems and OPSB solutions. Source and develop client relationships and referrals from Pediatric Orthopedic surgeons and O&P clinic staff. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up in the assigned territory, using Microsoft Outlook and Excel to maximize territory potential. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team. Supervisory Responsibilities

There are no supervisor responsibilities with this position. Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to relate well to others and willingness to perform a wide variety of functions related to the role. Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals. Problem-solving skills and strong organizational skills with rigorous attention to detail. Education and/or Experience

Requires a 4-year degree; business, marketing, sales or a STEM discipline strongly preferred. Experience in medical device sales is strongly preferred (preference for orthopedics, non-surgical devices, healthcare, or capital equipment). Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; prepare routine reports; communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other employees. Requires excellent grammar and spelling. Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Requires a valid driver’s license. Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to operate standard office equipment; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Physical Demands

Regularly sit and use hands; frequently climb stairs, talk and hear; occasionally stand, walk, reach, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment

Work environment typical of a normal hospital setting. Vendor relationships, sterile fields in surgery, and bloodborne pathogens training may be required. Travel may be required.
