Here at Workday, our Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales Operations organization. With a net new revenue focus, they drive Workday’s new customer growth by guiding customers to modern enterprise management cloud solutions. You will partner with customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver long-lasting value and ensure customer satisfaction from day one and beyond. In this role, you will: Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Large Enterprise prospects and articulate Workday value proposition Develop relationships with net new customers focusing on deal management and connecting customers with Workday solutions, particularly core financials Negotiate deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect pipeline and forecast data About You

Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud-based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / or Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position 5+ years experience collaborating with internal teams (pre-sales, value, inside sales) to achieve quota and manage multiple deals 5+ years experience managing longer deal cycles, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities Proven ability to understand the competitive landscape and position Workday solutions effectively Able to quickly establish trust with key stakeholders Experience partnering with internal teams on account strategies for short and long-term prospecting and territory management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Other Qualifications Experience with maintaining strategic relationships and coordinating cross-functional resources Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Pay ranges vary by work location. This role may be eligible for a bonus plan, commissions, and stock grants as part of total compensation. Compensation offers are based on geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need.
