We're seeking a

Systems Administrator I

to join our IT Infrastructure & Operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing servers, systems, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft environments, virtualization, Active Directory, and backup solutions, along with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and infrastructure systems. Monitor daily system performance, ensuring availability, reliability, and proper resource utilization. Apply patches, upgrades, and configuration changes to optimize system health. Troubleshoot and resolve server and system issues, providing Tier 2 support and documenting solutions. Partner with project teams to assess requirements and recommend appropriate system or storage solutions. Oversee backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and timely recovery in case of failures. Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in systems administration or design. Strong understanding of server operating systems, virtualization, Active Directory, and security concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft OS environments and server troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving, communication, and initiative-taking skills. Preferred

Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field. Experience with VMware, SAN, Citrix, IBM AS/400, Microsoft SQL Server, Cohesity, or UNIX. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and mentor junior staff when needed.
