Job Overview As a Merchandising Colleague, also known as a Front of House Colleague, you\'ll help keep the store running smoothly and efficiently. You will aid in merchandise movement and placement, enhance the visual presentation of merchandise, arrange and maintain product displays, ensure pricing and signage is up-to-date, and deliver genuine hospitality to customers and colleagues. Your teamwork will shine as you collaborate with colleagues to achieve department goals and foster a positive workplace. Most importantly, you\'ll make every customer feel welcome by greeting them with a smile and offering help when needed. We\'re looking for flexible, team-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. If you can handle multiple tasks and are available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, come be part of a team dedicated to making every customer feel at home. Note: Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30+ hours per week; part-time are typically 12-24 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and availability. What You Will Do
Deliver Customer Service Excellence:
Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, provide thoughtful assistance, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a seamless shopping experience. Visual Merchandising:
Support floor relocations, maintain product displays, and update mannequins and visuals per company directives. Product Placement:
Prepare and display merchandise attractively and replenish stock to maintain an organized presentation. Pricing & Signing:
Ensure accurate pricing and signage; regularly use technology to update prices and promotions according to guidelines. Sales Support:
Develop product knowledge, assist with loyalty programs and Macy\'s sales systems, help customers find items, complete transactions, and suggest additional purchases. Store Presentation:
Maintain department recovery standards, including selling floor and fitting rooms. Team Collaboration:
Work with colleagues to achieve goals, foster a positive environment, share insights, and address challenges to keep operations running smoothly.

Understand store products and provide expert guidance based on customer needs and product features. Customer Service:

Who You Are
No education or experience required Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with dependable attendance Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups Resourceful, adaptable, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team Self-starter who adapts quickly to changing customer expectations Must be able to:
Communicate with customers, co-workers, and supervisors Read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English
Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform
This position requires lifting, constant movement, standing, and reaching with arms and hands. It involves standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 50 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Reaching, including above eye level, plus color vision. Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment and cash register operations.
