Overview
Director – Client Accounting Services (CAS) Compensation: $150,000 – $220,000 (based on experience) ABOUT THE POSITION: We are seeking a growth-oriented and strategic Director to expand the Client Accounting Services (CAS) practice. This individual will focus on business development, client relationship management, and delivery of high-quality outsourced accounting services to a diverse client base. RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive new business development through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach. Serve as trusted advisor and relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, delivering insights on budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and financial analysis. Oversee client deliverables including monthly close, financial reporting, compliance, and cash flow management. Identify cross-sell opportunities and ensure client retention through exceptional service. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of accounting professionals while ensuring efficient workflows and scalable processes. Partner with leadership and marketing to execute go-to-market strategies and expand the CAS practice. Implement quality control, maintain compliance, and contribute to internal process improvements. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA highly preferred). 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership in public accounting and/or outsourced accounting. Proven ability to generate new business, grow accounts, and build long-term client relationships. Strong financial acumen with experience advising small to mid-sized businesses. Proficiency with cloud-based accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify, etc.). Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
