– Sika is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our growing team in various U.S. markets. Key Account Managers will drive profitable sales growth by promoting and selling Sika technologies. Experience within the electronics industry or knowledge of adhesives and sealants is required. Demonstrated experience or familiarity with Chinese cultural norms, traditions, and business etiquette. Responsibilities
– The Key Account Manager will achieve assigned sales targets and maintain a “Sales Force” customer database in addition to: Leading technical solution development Executing strategic initiatives aligned with business goals Identifying new business opportunities Incorporating core competencies including problem solving and consultative selling Utilizing Process Analysis to learn customer needs and identify opportunities Preparing and presenting formal and informal presentations and seminars supporting the customer’s requirements Preferred Skills Requires minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Marketing, Business, Engineering, etc.) Minimum five years sales experience Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with strong oral and written communication Excellent analytical and quantitative skills Familiarity with adhesives and sealants is preferred Job Responsibilities
Account Management & Business Development – Build and maintain strong relationships Coordinate product trials, technical validation, and implementation with application engineering and R&D Work with functional support personnel to meet customer needs Prepare and present formal and informal presentations and seminars Achieve sales and distribution goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Prepare and submit business plans and reports to communicate projects and resource requirements Identify and communicate market segments, product ideas, and product technologies Incorporate core competencies including problem-solving and consultative selling Forecast monthly sales for each account within corporate guidelines Maintain CRM “SalesForce” database Submit timely reports detailing activities and trends Perks & Benefits

Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) language, written and spoken Demonstrated experience or familiarity with Chinese cultural norms, traditions, and business etiquette Prior work, study, or residency in a Chinese-speaking region is a plus Ability to engage with Chinese-speaking clients, partners, or stakeholders effectively Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, preferably in business or engineering Minimum five years of progressively responsible sales experience with a proven track record Proven record of creativity, innovation, and sales growth Familiarity with adhesives and sealants is preferred Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, strong communication, analytical, planning, and time management skills Experience within the electronics industry or knowledge of adhesives and sealants is preferred Company Policy & Equal Opportunity
