Our Insurance practice is a growing team focused on business and technology projects to transform brokers and carriers and help them adapt to market demands. We assist our clients by developing operating models and cost optimization strategies, implementing technology platforms, data and analytics tools, and supporting the related change management.
As an Insurance Consultant, you will apply your knowledge and skills to tailor solutions that help our clients gain a competitive advantage in their markets. You will work closely with business and technology executives to address key challenges within the financial services industry, contribute to project delivery, and begin developing leadership skills while building your career at one of the best places to work.
Primary Responsibilities
Work directly with clients to implement processes and technology that support business value and process efficiency across business and technical functions. Collaborate with business owners to create new business processes. Support client workshops to design future-state business processes and requirements. Assist with detailed requirements gathering. Interface with all levels of management, both internally and at client sites. Project Management
Develop client-ready communications to facilitate decision making, communicate status, and help mitigate risk or resolve issues. Contribute to project-related deliverables such as project plans, implementation plans, and communication plans. Collaborate with engagement management to reduce project risk. Work closely with West Monroe colleagues and client teams to quickly establish highly functioning joint project teams. Business And Practice Development
Support the business development process by contributing to project approaches and proposals. Assist in the development of tools, methodologies, and techniques used by West Monroe in client engagements. What You’ll Bring To The Team
Sharp analytical thinking and an interest in solving complex problems. Ability to stay organized and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment. Demonstrated leadership potential through academics, extracurriculars, or prior work experience. Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to team success. Curiosity and a passion for continuous learning and innovation. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in progress, with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and July 2026. Legally authorized to work in the United States without limitation or sponsorship now or in the future. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Reside within 50 miles of your assigned office prior to your start date; our culture emphasizes team collaboration within a hybrid work model. Ability and willingness to travel Monday – Thursday (up to 50%); travel expenses covered by West Monroe. Preferred Qualifications
Majors with a focus in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Industrial & Systems Engineering, or Information Systems.
