Overview
Myticas's direct client is seeking a
Business Systems Analyst-LIMS
for a 24+ months contract role at Waukegan, IL (Hybrid-3 days onsite). Responsibilities
Author, review, and execute qualification protocols for instrument/LIMS integrations according to software validation and SLC methodologies. Document and manage requirements, workflows, data mappings, and integration steps for lab systems. Collaborate with lab personnel, IT, QA, and vendor teams to ensure successful and compliant deployment of solutions. Conduct functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) of integrations, report findings, and verify remediation. Support troubleshooting and technical investigations related to data flow and instrument connectivity issues. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, compliance records, and qualification evidence. Lead or support change control, deviation, or CAPA activities related to integrated lab systems. Provide training and guidance to lab users on new integrations and processes. Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
3-5 years of proven experience qualifying or deploying data integrations in a regulated lab environment. Working knowledge of laboratory instruments (e.g., balances, chromatographs, titrators) and their connectivity protocols. Demonstrated experience with LIMS and/or other electronic laboratory platforms; experience with LabX and Empower is highly desirable. Familiarity with software and computerized systems validation, including authoring/executing qualification protocols, requirements specification, and testing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation. Strong organizational and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Experience
Experience with regulated industries (pharma/biotech/medical devices). Direct hands-on experience integrating instruments with LIMS via middleware, drivers, or custom interfaces. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for lab data integrity (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, GxP). Job Details
