The Alt Credit Team comprises over 80 investment professionals located primarily in New York City, Atlanta, and London. The Alt Credit platform focuses on asset-backed strategies across a spectrum of opportunities, including loans, leases, receivables, and other asset types. Primary Functions And Essential Responsibilities

We are seeking a Vice President to join our Alternative Credit Group in the New York office. This strategy focuses on delivering strong risk-adjusted excess return over investment grade corporates for insurance balance sheets, with a focus on whole loan acquisitions and privately originated asset-based opportunities. The qualified candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing, structuring, and underwriting asset-based financing and forward flow transactions. Asset types may include consumer loans, student loans, lender finance, infrastructure, transportation, and royalties. Experience with rating agency methodologies and the ability to operate independently in sourcing and execution are desirable. The candidate should have significant experience interacting with portfolio companies, rating agencies, banks, and legal counsel, and familiarity with investing insurance capital. Financial Modeling & Analysis : Thoroughly analyze and underwrite potential investments including collateral tapes, historical performance, facility structure, and develop quantitative models for scenario analysis. Proficiency with Intex or Python preferred. Due Diligence : Lead due diligence processes including management due diligence, data analysis, and lead all third-party workflows (counsel, rating agencies, and other groups) to facilitate successful closings. Documentation : Lead documentation processes and negotiations with counterparties. Assemble term sheets, commitment letters, and drive the execution of definitive transaction documents. Portfolio Management : Provide active input for portfolio management of transactions, overseeing and assessing risk across portfolios and working with portfolio managers. Qualifications

Superior academic achievement at a top-tier undergraduate program. 7+ years of finance experience with direct exposure to asset-backed transactions; preference for investment banking or buy-side experience and familiarity with insurance capital. Proven track record in sourcing and executing privately originated asset-based opportunities. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate clear investment risk and relative value analyses. Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-moving, demanding environment with intellectual curiosity, problem-solving skills, and sophisticated financial modeling and analytical capabilities. Reporting Relationships

Partner, Credit. Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $190,000.00 - $225,000.00. Total compensation may include a discretionary performance-based bonus. The range reflects a broad spectrum of qualifications including experience, education, and other role-specific factors.
