Associate Finance Director, Urology

Boston Scientific The Associate Director of Finance will lead a team of financial analysts to drive all of the financial operations of the Urology business, including the monthly/quarterly close, strategic plan financials, annual operating plan and various other financial processes and analyses. This role will interface with the regions, developing key relationships with regional finance and line management. This position will also partner with the supply chain and plant teams to understand drivers of, and opportunities for improvement in, gross margin, inventory levels and E&O. About The Role The role reports to the Global Urology VP of Finance and has a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, including exposure at the Urology Management Board level, as well as interaction with other corporate, divisional and regional finance groups across Boston Scientific. Your Responsibilities Will Include Lead monthly P&L reviews and forecasting activities; support the creation of executive-ready Monthly and Quarterly Business Review presentations Oversee global planning and forecasting processes, including target-setting, scenario modeling, consolidation, and presentation to senior leaders Participate in key decision-making processes with multi-functional teams; provide proactive financial insights and highlight risks and opportunities Partner with marketing strategy team, product marketing and regional counterparts to consolidate assumptions around global market model Own divisional revenue planning and forecasting process and identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy Oversee the daily sales reporting process, partnering with GBS and division stakeholders. Lead franchise level reporting and partner with franchise controllers on profitability analysis/target setting for the franchises. Own headcount reporting and prioritization process. Serve as FP&A lead on acquisition integration, ensuring efficient integration, planning, and reporting into BSC Act as financial partner in Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP); ensure alignment with supply chain and demand forecasts Lead automation efforts and reporting innovation in collaboration with the Finance Center of Excellence (COE); spearhead AI initiatives for predictive analytics Manage team consisting of three Financial Analysts and provide coaching, support and leadership. Interface with corporate finance on special projects and cross-functional initiatives Drive continuous improvement in financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy Participate in Urology Finance Leadership Team and provide leadership to the broader Urology Finance organization Required Qualifications Minimum of 10 years' experience in financial analysis, planning, and business support Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting Strong Excel skills Strong systems proficiency, with hands-on experience in analysis and reporting Experience working in a complex, matrixed, global organization Preferred Qualifications MBA or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Familiarity with Oracle EPM Planning and SAP Prior experience in a mid-size to large company Experience partnering with commercial organizations or functional teams Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights Proven ability to lead, influence, and partner cross-functionally Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong financial acumen with attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated ability to act autonomously and provide consultative support Demonstrated ambition and readiness to progress into more senior finance leadership roles Boston Scientific is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to solving the challenges that matter most – united by a deep caring for human life.
