The Research Study Coordinator will support an NIH-funded research study on the impact of racism burden on healthy brain function and mental health in Black young adults and will require supporting recruitment through outreach and community engagement with the local Black communities. The primary responsibilities of the position include outreach, community engagement, recruiting, screening and scheduling participants, coordinating study visits, database management, and administrative duties (e.g., IRB protocol management) and day-to-day study-specific lab operations.
The study coordinator will perform administrative duties, such as preparing and maintaining IRB documentation, maintaining research databases and coordinate and schedule study visits and data collection for our NIA funded study.
Responsibilities
Outreach and community engagement with local Black communities to support participant recruitment.
Recruiting, screening, and scheduling participants for study visits and data collection.
Coordinate study visits and data collection for NIH/NIA funded studies.
Database management and maintenance of IRB documentation.
Administrative duties and day-to-day study operations in the lab.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of experience.
