Job Title: Principal Electrical Engineer
Job Description: As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and layout of power plant sites, microgrids, and power distribution systems with medium and low voltage systems. Your expertise will extend to switchgear and motor control centers, computer modeling/analysis of electrical systems, and the development of convenience power, lighting systems, grounding, and lightning protection systems. Candidates with traditional power generation experience are preferred.
You will also design schematic and wiring diagrams and prepare specifications for equipment and systems. Your role will involve report preparation, determining code requirements, and performing and reviewing design computations.
Responsibilities
Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas as necessary. Manage design budgets and schedules. Develop engineering drawings and specifications proficiently. Perform and check engineering calculations. Size, select, and specify electrical equipment and coordinate information with vendors. Conduct project field site visits. Work on low voltage projects (60kV or below). Essential Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) Registration 10+ years of relevant electrical design experience Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software Excellent communication skills Willingness to collaborate Additional Skills & Qualifications
